Meta ġejt ippreżentat bl-opportunità li niddibatti ma’ Lawrence (Wenzu) The Voice, ma kellix dubju li l-aqwa mod kif nista’ nitħaddet miegħu huwa billi nuża kliemu stess.

Għalhekk ġbart ir-reels tiegħu, wieħed wieħed, u qabbilt dak li jgħid fuqu nnifsu ma’ dak li tella’ fil-fatt. Kull kwotazzjoni f’dan is-sit għandha l-link tar-reel tagħha, biex kulħadd jista’ jisma’ b’widnejh.

Fid-dibattitu se tarani nuża kliemu stess il-ħin kollu, u nitolbu jiċċara x’ried ifisser. Ħafna drabi pprova jbiddel id-diskussjoni billi jirridikola minflok iwieġeb, kif jagħmel ta’ spiss fir-reels tiegħu.

X’se ssib f’dan is-sit

Nota fuq l-użu tal-AI

Dan ix-xogħol sar bl-għajnuna tal-intelliġenza artifiċjali. L-awdjo tar-reels ġie traskritt b’AI (ElevenLabs Scribe). Ir-reels ġew ikklassifikati, u l-kwotazzjonijiet magħżula u miġbura, b’AI (Claude, ta’ Anthropic). L-AI tagħmel l-iżbalji, speċjalment bil-Malti, għalhekk kull kwotazzjoni torbot mar-reel oriġinali: ir-reel huwa l-aħħar kelma.

Wenzu stess jafda l-AI. Fl-20 ta’ Mejju 2026 tella’ reel fejn staqsa lil ChatGPT liema miż-żewġ manifesti huwa l-iktar realistiku, u ppreżenta t-tweġiba, favur il-manifest Laburista, bħala verdett newtrali: “So ovvjament ChatGPT la huma Laburisti u lanqas huma Nazzjonalisti.” Ara r-reel

Mela, skont il-kejl tiegħu stess, l-AI hija imħallef ġust. U b’AI għażilt u ġbart kliemu stess.

Dan is-sit ma jgħidx li Wenzu tħallas, u ma jgħidx li m’għandux dritt jappoġġja lil min irid. Jgħid biss li jippreżenta lilu nnifsu bħala indipendenti, u jqabbel dan ma’ dak li tella’.

Welcome to wenzuthevojt.com

When I was offered the chance to debate Lawrence (Wenzu) The Voice, I had no doubt that the best way to talk to him was to use his own words.

So I collected his reels, one by one, and compared what he says about himself with what he actually posted. Every quote on this site links to its reel, so anyone can hear it for themselves.

In the debate you will see me use his own words throughout and ask him to clarify what he meant. He often tried to shift the discussion by ridiculing instead of answering, as he often does in his reels.

A note on AI

This work was done with the help of AI. The reels’ audio was transcribed by AI (ElevenLabs Scribe). The reels were classified, and the quotes selected and compiled, by AI (Claude, by Anthropic). AI makes mistakes, especially in Maltese, so every quote links to the original reel: the reel is the final word.

Wenzu himself trusts AI. On 20 May 2026 he posted a reel in which he asked ChatGPT which of the two manifestos was more realistic, and presented its answer, in favour of Labour’s manifesto, as a neutral verdict: “So obviously ChatGPT is neither Labour nor Nationalist.” Watch the reel

So, by his own standard, AI is a fair judge. And with AI I sorted and compiled his own words.

This site does not say Wenzu was paid, and it does not say he has no right to support whoever he likes. It says only that he presents himself as independent, and it compares that with what he posted.

Wenzu The Voice tells his viewers he is on no side: 65 times in the reels studied here he calls himself neutral or independent, or says he favours neither party. This file tests that promise against what he actually posted. It reads 1,153 of his Facebook reels, from May 2024 to October 2026, classifies each one, and codes every praise and criticism of Labour and the Nationalist Party (PN) the same way.

The answer is the same on every test. He criticises the PN almost three times as often as Labour, and differently. In the five-week election campaign he did not post one reel criticising the government on its own. He promoted government schemes in reels that carried no ad label, and almost all the insults he aimed at politicians went to one side. The charts and quotes below show the evidence; each quote links to its reel. ■

A partisan, not an independent

The argument

Every test gives the same answer. He goes quiet on Labour when the vote is near, treats the two parties by different standards, performs at Labour's congress, sells the government's schemes without a label, insults one side, and makes rules only for his opponents. Liking Labour is his right. Calling that independence is not honest.

PartThe pointKey number
1. What he says about himselfHis whole brand is 'I am on no side'. Every other part of this file tests that promise against what he actually did.65 times he says he is on no side
2. The driftWhen the vote came near, he stopped criticising Labour on its own: 15 such reels in his first two months, zero in the campaign. A neutral voice gets sharper at election time; a partisan goes quiet.Campaign: 92 reels for Labour, 0 against the government alone
3. Two standardsHe does not only criticise the PN more often; he criticises it differently. Names and ridicule for the PN, 'il-gvern' and a 'but' for Labour. That is a partisan's double standard.Ridicule in 132 of 245 PN criticisms (54%), 15 of 91 Labour (16%)
4. Campaign productionHe made campaign content at Labour's congress with Labour ministers, and 30 of the 31 reels with a politician on camera are with Labour. A commentator puts both sides on camera; he performed for one.30 of 31 reels with a politician on camera are with Labour
5. Government adsHe sold the government's schemes in 42 reels, in the government's own words, attacked the PN figures who questioned them, and labelled none. That is the government's voice, not an independent one.42 promo reels, 498,194 views, 0 labels
6. “I never insult”His civility rule runs one way: 60 insults at PN politicians, 5 at Labour ones. The rule he preaches protects Labour, not everybody.60 insults at PN politicians, 5 at Labour
7. His own rulesHe tells others not to tell people how to vote, then steers his own viewers away from the PN two days before the vote. His rules bind his opponents, not himself.Same day, 28 May 2026

Not argued: that he likes or votes Labour (his right), or that he was paid (no evidence). The case is that he presents himself as independent while acting as a partisan.

Methodology

The audio of each reel was transcribed by an AI speech-to-text model (ElevenLabs Scribe) and classified by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) into eight categories, then re-reviewed in full several times. Maltese transcription makes mistakes, so each quote links to its reel. Reels over ten minutes were not transcribed. Read the full method.
